The 95 Theses is a ceramic triptych composed of three vessels that depict obscured histories of U.S. invasions, violence, and political interventions carried out under the ideologies of Manifest Destiny and the Monroe Doctrine in the continent. The vessels feature imagery drawn from U.S. propaganda produced during the Good Neighbor Policy toward Latin America, alongside visual references to Manifest Destiny-era propaganda.

The title, 95 Theses, alludes to the Protestant legend of Martin Luther nailing his theses to the door of the Church, an act of dissent against the dominant power of his time. By invoking this foundational narrative—one deeply embedded in the mythology of Christian America—the work positions itself as a critique of the historical narratives and imperial ideologies that have shaped U.S. identity.
