Proposal for Habitat for Humankind

Proposal for Habitat for Humankind is a series of architectural proposals that explore impossible spaces. These speculative structures function as metaphors for the postmodern ideal of communal spaces (both physical and theoretical) where humankind might coexist in harmony. The work embraces the absurdity of proposing architectures that are impossible to realize and are intended to exist only as concepts. Using the material and visual language of architecture and construction, the project also seeks to make visible the labor of immigrant construction workers, whose efforts build spaces from which they are often excluded.
